Wild Dog are the most endangered carnivore in South Africa. The African wild dog also called the African Painted Wolf and the African Hunting Dog, is a wild canine which is a native species to sub-Saharan Africa. The Spotted and Brown Hyena are found in South Africa. Most are found mostly in National Parks and Game Reserves. Spotted Hyenas have the strongest jaws of all predators and can crack the bones of carcasses easily.
